A Fire in the West is a short film that follows the escalating feud between two once-close directors whose friendship fractures after a devastating betrayal. In post-production from March to September 2025, the film completed a full festival run and is scheduled for public release in late January 2026.

As Picture Editor, I was responsible for shaping the narrative, pacing, and emotional rhythm of the film through the assembly and refinement of the visual cut. I worked closely with the Director to translate the script and creative vision into a cohesive story, making editorial decisions that supported character development, tone, and thematic clarity.

My role included organizing and syncing footage, building rough and fine cuts, and integrating feedback from the creative team. I collaborated with sound, music, and color departments to ensure smooth transitions through post-production and delivered locked picture cuts that balanced technical precision with strong visual storytelling.
