Currently in post-production, Angler is a dramatic horror short that blends grounded character drama with visceral, practical effects. As 2nd Assistant Director, I supported the production by helping maintain efficient set operations while navigating the unique logistical and safety demands of the film.

I worked closely with the Assistant Director team and department heads to coordinate a crew of over 35 people and manage an ensemble cast of nine performers. My responsibilities included producing call sheets, organizing crafty and catering services, and coordinating daily transportation to a remote shooting location located an hour and a half outside of Savannah. I prioritized clear communication and strong working relationships across departments to keep production on schedule in a high-pressure environment.

The shoot presented several complex challenges, including working with a fully practical monster costume and coordinating safety protocols for underwater sequences. I utilized creative problem-solving to address unexpected obstacles as they arose, ensuring both cast and crew safety while maintaining momentum throughout the shoot. My work on Angler reflects a strong ability to manage large teams, adapt to demanding production conditions, and support ambitious storytelling through effective on-set leadership.
